緊急取調室
Yukiko Makabe was a senior officer on the Special Investigations Team, but was reassigned after she took responsibility for a failed bus hijacking case. She was transferred to the Department of Grill Room Investigation. Since the department is specialized in conducting important investigations, only the best made it into the group. Surrounded by veteran investigators with unique personalities, Yukiko starts her new career. Her job will be to uncover the hidden truths by interrogating suspects that are far from ordinary. This is a new police drama that focuses on the battlefront behind closed doors.
真昼の悪魔
A priest says “devil is like dust, nobody notices it creeps into your mind.” Yoko Okouchi, a woman with beautiful appearance, is listening to the priest. She wears a neutral expression on her face.
Masato Nanba wishes to be a writer. He feels sharp pain in his stomach and rushes in a hospital. Yoko is the doctor who treats him. Masato has been suffering from the pain, but he feels a little bit better because Yoko cheers him up very kindly like a Venus.
Masato has a successful surgical operation and stay in the hospital for a while. He is actually glad to be looked after by Yoko
But it is the entrance of the road to despair and destruction.
Many strange things happen in the hospital. A mysterious note is found in a back of a drawer in a sickroom. A medical accident for an old woman of dementia occurs. A girl is about to die by unknown allergy. A patient gets worse by a false medical records. And so on.
Are these really just accidents?
Patients, co-workers, lovers and family… their mind cross each others complicatedly. What is “the malice” inside human? Is there a possibility that a devil creeps into everyone’s mind?

とある教会のミサで神父は言う。
「悪魔は埃（ほこり）に似ています。誰も気づかぬうちに、目立たずそっと忍び込み、たまっていくのです。みなさんの心の中に・・・」
後方の席で神父の言葉を聞いている女性・大河内葉子（田中麗奈）。その美しくも無表情な顔からは、彼女の内面がまったくうかがい知れない。
一方、作家志望のとある青年・難波聖人（中村蒼）は、腹部に猛烈な痛みを覚え、病院に駆け込んだ。対応するのは、白衣の医師・葉子。虫垂炎だと診断し、てきぱきと指示を出す。
激痛に耐える難波の顔を両手で包み込み、優しい声をかける。美しい女神のような葉子の姿に、難波は地獄の痛みが和らいだ気がした…
手術は無事に成功し、入院することになった難波は、美しく優秀な葉子が担当医になったことにも喜ぶ。しかしそれは、大いなる絶望と破滅への入り口であった。

Original author Shusuke Shizukui is a mystery writer who has won a number of awards. Several of his works have been made into feature films and TV dramas, such as the suspenseful, deep Closed Note and Partners by Blood. The theme of “familial love” can also be found in many of his works.
東京の、とある閑静な住宅街。
元裁判官の梶間勲とその家族が平和に暮らす家の隣に、かつて無罪判決を下した殺人事件の容疑者、武内真伍（ユースケ・サンタマリア）が引っ越してくる。
勲の息子・俊郎の嫁である雪見（優香）が娘のまどかと一緒に飛ばして遊んでいた竹とんぼを誤って隣家に落とし、竹とんぼを取りに隣家に入ろうとすると武内に偶然出会う。隣に引っ越してきた旨を告げ挨拶する武内。夜、雪見が新たな隣人について家族に話した後に、武内が挨拶に訪れる。
「これ、つまらない物なんですがお近づきの印に」とお取り寄せしたらしい各地の名産品を次々に出し、一つ一つ説明しながら勲の妻・尋恵たちに渡していく。その数の多さに面を食らう雪見たち。笑顔の武内―。
その時、帰宅した勲が武内の顔を見た途端驚がくし、言葉を失う。
そして武内も「梶間先生……！」と笑顔から驚きの表情へ変わり、「ここが梶間先生のご自宅だったなんて、こんな偶然があるんですね。いや、でも心強い限りです。先生は命の恩人ですから！」と喜ぶ。
梶間家の運命を変える事になる隣人の誕生だった。
